[ Oh my gosh better? Well, if that's true, her lunch plans might have to be swapped up... ] Does Sanji own it?

[ Ikki clasps Vivi's hand, and follows along easily, more or less skipping along. She giggles in turn, covering her mouth with her free hand. She loves surprises! ] This is going to be the best!

[That's a good question, and one she doesn't rightly know the answer to.] Well. He's the boss, so...I guess so.

[Vivi nods enthusiastically, pushing open the door and flinging out a hand to present the place to Ikki with a flourish.] Ta-daaah!

[ Ooooh points for the flourish, Vivi, Ikki approves!

And she takes in a deep breath, looking around. ] Wo-ow! It's nice looking. And it smells good, too. [ Seriously wow good thing she brought her appetite. ]

[Despite being a restaurant, Sanji has "adopted" so many little girls in this town that he expects to see them running underfoot. Vivi's presence is hardly a surprise. Her friend, however, is more than enough to catch his attention - for happy and somber reasons.]

Vivi-chan~! [He waves her and Ikki over] I see you made a new friend, eh?

Sanji! [Vivi runs right over to the cook and gives him a quick hug around the knees.]

Mm! This is Ikki! She's my friend and my new big sister! And we wanted to celebrate because I've never had a sister before, and Ikki's never had a little sister, and I said I bet you would give us cake. [She pauses to take a breath.]

[ Ikki runs over, too, immediately identifying the chef from Vivi's picture - mostly, admittedly, because of the eyebrow. ]

[ As soon as Vivi pauses, Ikki jumps right in, pretty seamlessly. ] Hi, Sanji! I've been here four whole days and I live with Katara and Grandpa Aang and them and you're a Strawhat, right? So Katara said I can trust you all but I didn't know Vivi was your family 'till after that, so that's fun, right?

[ She's beaming now, because. How could she not? ]

[Dear lord there's a lot to process in that whirlwind of speech. He manages to catch some of it - Grandpa Aang, newly declared sisters, Katara giving him the go-ahead to spoil Ikki rotten - but really, what takes precedence in his mind is that he's about to send two hyper little girls on a sugar high.

His life choices.]

It's a pleasure to meet you, Ikki-chan~! [He sends a silent prayer the Avatar House's way.] And sisters? That is something to celebrate then~ [He grins back at them] Well then, what type of cake would you ladies like?

Um.

[Vivi turns to Ikki to field that one; after all, she was the one who came up with the great cake title in the first place, and besides...Vivi can't quite remember how it goes.]

[ He was so nice. That's what Ikki had thought of all the other people from their world she'd met so far, and she wasn't disappointed here, either. Plus, Sanji understood the importance of their celebration! Ikki does remember the cake title, luckily! ] The Super Celebratory Sister Surprise!!

[ She says this very proudly and expectantly. ...Apparently it's up to Sanji to figure out what they mean by that. ]

Super Celebratory Sister Surprise?

I think I've got one of those in the fridge!

[Vivi turns to Ikki with a giddy gasp.] It's a real thing!

Sanji, where should we sit? [It's a restaurant, so he's supposed to show them to their table, right?]

[ They are such geniuses, Vivi! Ikki has to squeal. How brilliant are they? ] We ideabended! [ Sometimes. She just adds bending to random actions. ]

[ Vivi is totally right about this. Ikki looks up at the chef expectantly. ]

Right this way~! [He leads them to a booth, hoping that maybe it will be enough to cage off the rest of the restaurant from their combined enthusiasm.]

Now, before I get your cake, do you two need anything to drink? [Treating them like proper customers here]

Thank you! [Vivi hops right into the booth, unfolding her napkin neatly. There's definitely some palace table manners at work here.]

Can I have a fizzy lemonade, please? [That seems like a sufficiently celebratory drink.]

[ Ikki follows, sliding into the other side. She undoes her napkin less neatly, but spreads it on her lap, so...there's some manners at work here.

Fizzy lemonade? Oooh, Ikki's never had that. ] Me too, please! With ice cubes! [ Because. Ice. ]

[He's trying not to grin stupidly, he really is, but... ugh too cute. He's going to disintegrate from their combined adorableness before they get that cake]

Two fizzy lemonades with ice cubes coming right up, then~! [After a small, humble bow, he walks off for the kitchen.]

[ooc: You guys can thread for a bit before Sanji returns o/]

[Vivi leans over the table a bit, grinning for all she's worth.]

See! He's really really nice! And he has a swirly eyebrow, just like I said. [As if Ikki might not believe that until she saw for herself.]

[ Ikki crosses her arms on the table, leaning in as well. The seriousness of this pose is ruined by a smile and the fact that she's kicking her dangling legs, just a little and not hard. ]

He is! And he knew what the Super Celebratory Sister Surprise was! And it's really swirly! How'd it grow like that? [ Of course, Vivi has blue hair and Zoro has green hair...but those things seem normal in comparison to the swirly eyebrow. ]

[Vivi shakes her head.] Maybe we should ask him. Maybe he grows it like that on purpose! [Vivi touches the end of her own eyebrow, trying to figure out if it's possible to encourage it to grow in another direction.]

[She kicks her feet a little as well, too excited to sit still.] What do you think the Super Celebratory Sister Surprise is? [She's picturing and enormous tiered cake, piled high with swirls of frosting and artfully arranged candied almonds.]

[ The action is mirrored by Ikki, who touches both of her eyebrows, wondering if you just will it to happen or what. ] Maybe he eats lots of swirly foods? [ ...it seems as logical as anything else. ]

Oh! We-ell! [ Good question! Ikki's trying to figure out what it might be, too. It has to be something amazing. ] Maybe one of those huuuuuuuge layer cakes with all the colours and confetti and pretty frosting flowers and chocolate!

[Vivi ponders that.] What kinds of foods are swirly? Um. Some noodles, I guess. And cinnamon rolls! [She picks up her spoon, tapping it thoughtfully against her palm.]

[Ikki's cake description gets her imagination going in another direction.] Oooh! And maybe two candy sisters on the top of it, like on a wedding cake! And...candles!

Onions? [ They have...rings. Hmmm. This is tough. ]

And sparklers! [ The mental picture of the cake gets more and more complex as Vivi speaks, and Ikki has to add her own flair, too. ] And the candy sisters will be holding hands!

[Random aside, but Sanji's eyebrow was itching the entire time he was in the kitchen. Wonder what that's about. B|

In any case the man returns with a tray and two tall, neat glasses of sparkling lemonade, each garnished with a lemon and a strawberry, which he then places in front of the children]

There you are, ladies~

[Vivi makes a delighted sound at the fanciness of the lemonade, pulling it close to take a drink.] Oh, it's so good! Thank you, Sanji!

[She plucks the strawberry from the glass and nibbles delicately before turning to Ikki.] What do you think? Good, isn't it?
