[ That gets another smile. As the youngest member of either household, Ikki tends to assume that the adults are usually looking for other adults - especially with the whole two-households thing now, although she sees everyone at both household often enough that she barely notices. ]

Yep! 'Cause you have to be nice to new people, right? [ Ikki grins up at Katara. She's not really certain what Katara sought her out for, actually - she's more than happy to just take random walks with her grandmother, without looking for any motive. ]
[And truth be told, random walks with her grandmother or random spot checks are not entirely uncommon. But in this case, Katara does have a specific motive.]
Yes, definitely. But you have to be careful too - sometimes they're lost and confused and they might act in a way they'd later regret.
[And they would definitely regret it if they acted that way towards Ikki. Not that Katara can picture anyone taking their frustration out on a child, but there have been some pretty vicious people coming into Luceti as well. A little warning is not a bad thing at all.]
