When I met him, he was with Chien, who said he was Soren's second trainer. We were all...we spent a lot of time together.
[ She helped Chien with his reading, and they played together. ] ...Then he left, and Soren and I were partnered up. Soren came to find me, then.
Chien's back now - just four days ago! - but his brothers are here, too, and he says Soren and I should stick together. But we're all still friends!

As for Ques, she would probably normally say about how he was initially a pain to look after and can still be a bit of one, but Faeren's influence makes her less inclined to rock the boat, so instead she hesitantly agrees. ] Um. Although he can be a bit of a handful -- um, that's not to say he acts up too much, he's pretty docile for a monster, but...I guess he doesn't like to do what's good for him. He's pretty lazy.

Well, yeah! I mean, it's sort of...I think it's a bit different. They do it because it's part of their culture, and it's not...the same. I think. At least, it feels different from the times I've seen people really, truly fight.
[ Fenimore's gaze follows Ikki's and...okay, that's a little weird. But she has absolutely no idea what the chicky bird eyes are supposed to mean. She's rather slow on the uptake when it comes to her pet and she's never met Soren before. ]
