[ Strange. Definitely very strange. Ikki knew the room, because it was hers, but it wasn't right. Things weren't there, or were cleaned away, and although she searched around for it, she couldn't find her box or her clothes or even her sister. No matter how hard she tried to think about it, she couldn't really make things mesh in her head.

...Oh well! Humming softly to herself, Ikki opens the journal, going to her favourite setting - video. She doesn't look overly worried, although she's more or less baffled - she fully expects someone will find her and explain things, or at least tell her where to go. ]

Jinoraaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! D'you have my things? Or does someone else? 'Cause I can't find 'em. Or you, so I'm using this, although I dunno the chances of you reading this book instead of another book. [ Pouting. It would be so much easier if her sister weren't constantly buried in books. At least there's a very good chance some of her other family members will see this. At least, that's the entire plan - so far as Ikki plans anything. ]

Y'know, I could have really important news and you'd miss it 'cause I can't find you! I mean, I don't. I think. I mean, I guess I sorta do, but not ACTUALLY and if you'd read this you'd probably KNOW it already. I mean, I can probably think of some! But anyway my POINT is that now I'm gonna have to run over to the library 'cause that's probably where you are, and if you aren't I'm basically gonna have to run around everywhere instead 'cause maybe you decided to go sit and read on a bench but how do I know if you did, you know? And it's not like I know all the little places you could be or might be 'cause I'm not totally sure about that right now and anyway this is a bigger area to check than usual which is ANNOYING 'cause I don't know where you are for SURE and you might not be where I think you are and you might not even be where I don't think you are, and that gets CONFUSING.

[ Apparently that was all on one breath, because she has to pause to take another, still gesturing vaguely with her hands. ] Or! I guess I'll go check for my clothes first, 'cause the dress is nice an' all but at least that'd be some of my things down, I guess? An' that's on the way anyway, so I guess that works! But! If you're not here, then you might be there? I mean, 'cause where else would you sleep? [ She's not even really talking to her sister any longer, if she ever was. Hrm. ] 'Kay! So I'll go get my clothes, and then go back and check if you're at the other house. [ Aaaand that's a wrap. Video function ended. [ And post picking up her clothing, Ikki wanders back to her second household - which was the first, a little while back - to locate any of the relatives she hadn't managed to find to begin with. She does not actually knock on the door, but will just go inside and track down anyone who is there. And also probably take an apple or something to eat. ]

[ It's okay, that's a common reaction, Asami. Ikki looks considerably less dumbfounded - well, okay, she's a bit baffled, but no less chipper than usual. ]

Asami! Hiya! I dunno how long I was gone, though.

It's been quite a while now... a few weeks, actually. [Frown] So you remember everything?

We-ell, I think so! But if I forgot, I guess I wouldn't know that I forgot 'cause it'd be forgotten, so maybe there's something I don't remember?

That's just going to get too complicated. How about you tell me what you do remember?

What I remember? Well, okay! [ And then it is far, far too late, because Ikki just took a really deep breath. And now words. ]

When I first got here it was July 3rd and it was really fun 'cause I showed up at the fountain an' this was before the art project that I went to with Pao-lin and everyone so it wasn't all pretty and stuff then well it was pretty but not AS pretty y'know? But anyway, then I met Grandpa and Katara and Uncle Sokka and Uncle Roku and Uncle Zuko and Appa and Momo, and also Vivi and Nomi and Luke and Shikamaru and Chien and Soren! And Grandpa gave me a piggyback ride while we were on an air scooter after we had an air scooter race which I might've won 'cept I fell off but I didn't get hurt at all and Katara fixed my hair after we got my clothes and Uncle Sokka gave me chocolate which I'd never had before and soda and it's still weird how sweet it is and how it doesn't come in cans right? OH and that's when he promised to make me a boomerang but I haven't got that yet y'know! And Chien and Soren took me for a flight and Uncle Luke and Aunt Nomi showed me forcebending oh and this was when Uncle Luke was inside of Aunt Nomi instead of the other way around, and also Vivi was still a little girl who was younger than me, which is not how she normally is but it's okay because we're still sisters forever anyway!

And then the next day I talked to Nami in her journal and later on we went to her birthday party where I played hide and seek with Vivi and Luffy hit the ground REAAAAAAAAAALLY hard and also he was a girl but normally he's not a girl and he was pretty funny and can twist his face into the BEST funny faces!

And the day after THAT I did drawings of all my family to show people and talked to even MORE new people and that's the day I first spoke to Ven and Sifu Raine - did I tell you Sifu Raine gives me lessons or did give me lessons, 'cause I'm going to start school soon and Katara and grandpa wanted me to be caught up an' stuff - and Ven and I are siblings now 'cause he's my big brother and he has family too who're here but they're newer than he is and he goes into worlds with keys and can go really smaaaaaaaaall or really big and it's kinda confusing but really cool! He said his key can open any lock so if we get locked out of something we should talk to Ven! THEN I showed Toph my art I made for her with wire and we made LOOOOOOOOOTS more for the party for Katara 'cause it was her birthday and I met LOOOOOOOOOOOTS of new people there oh and I played with Vivi and Shikamaru who is the BEST ninja and also you and Jinora showed up!

[ DEEP BREATH ]

Then the NEXT day you asked about sports so we made plans to meet up for volleyball an' stuff, and also I talked to Patty who just got there and Arata who asked about food and made plans with the Beast to work on his puzzle aaaaaand then I talked to Xion about - well, about Luke, who died. But it's okay, 'cause he got better, and I've talked to him since then! But it was sad, so I talked to grandpa, and he gave me his prayer beads to keep me safe and keep nightmares away!

An' I went to a lemonade stand with grandpa, and went to Tanabata where I made wishes and saw Chien and Masaomi's battle - and Chien and Soren lost, but it was okay, 'cause I think they did really well! And Masaomi did, too, although I don't know him as well as Chien who I meet for lunch most days or I mean well I used to and I hope I can again! We practice our reading and stuff! And I talked to Asch, who is Luke's brother kinda I'm not clear on that but anyway he was nice and we talked about fonons!

And I talked to Abel an' Steve an' Jay and Xzana, an' Xzana's my friend but her wing was hurt then 'cause I think she tried to rip it off so she had to be in the water for a while and I kept bringing her bread an' stuff but it's okay 'cause her wing is all better now, I talked to her a little bit ago! And also that day Tarrlock came, an' so did Korra.

Theeeeeeeeen Korra asked about what she should do about liking Mako 'cause he's dating you and she said she thought you were prissy and too perfect but that you seem cool here an' I just said she should play with you if she wanted to 'cause she was overthinking it 'cause you're fun! An' I talked to Neji and then the Judge whose name is actually Luce but I call him Judge and then Daddy came!

An' then Luke was back and I talked to Pao-lin about the fountain thing I did an' that's where I met Rapunzel in person although we talked before that about the art club an' I have to talk to her about that soon! An' we played kuai ball, and I talked to the weird robot scientist man, and...

[ ...hrm ]

Ummmmmm [ CRAP WAS THAT A SECRET no wait Korra definitely did not specify that was meant to be a secret!! Ikki's list of secrets included bloodbending and special pirate fruit powers, Korra's remarks about Asami had never been granted protected status!!!!

Luckily this crisis is averted when Asami apparently moves on. MOTIVE READING: IKKI FAILS IT. ]
