Hi! This is Ikki. I'm writing this time. Since people keep asking about mommy and daddy, I drew pictures. And then some of people here who I met and my family here!

This is my family at home! That's me and my sister Jinora, and then Meelo is on Daddy's head, and Mommy and Daddy are holding Rohan. We're all at Air Temple Island there!

This is my family here! We're in a pink place because I wanted to use pink. It's me and Grandpa and Katara and Uncle Sokka and Aunt Toph and Uncle Roku and Uncle Zuko!

And this is everyone I met so far! It's Shikamaru who's super nice and cool and makes really really great shadows, and Nomi and Luke who are like an Avatar but not, and Chien and Soren, who don't bend air, and Vivi, who has the prettiest hair ever!

Also I got a swim suit and an apple and candy and soda and a room in our house, and it's the best best best best house ever!

[Whoah. Suddenly drawings. Drawings of families and people, some of which she knows. How very interesting.]

Whoaaah! Your drawings aren't bad, they look pretty. And that's Chien! He looks pretty with his purple hair.

[That. Isn't Chien. Well he's on that drawing somewhere and she recognises him so that's the main thing.]

[ Ikki's beaming until the Chien remark. Because wait that's Vivi! ]

Nonono, that's Vivi! 'Cause it's blue! Chien has the red eyes and he's by Soren, see?

[ but wait this voice sounds...closer to her age group than most people do. ] I'm Ikki! What's your name?

Ohhh, red eyes. Right! There's Chien, and his bird.

[Just going to stare at the picture for a moment without saying anything. It's so beauitful, a spitting image of Chien if she ever did see one.]

Hi Ikki, I'm Yotsuba Koiwai! [Waving at the journal! Even if she's just on voice.]

Are you friends with Chien, too? [ WHATEVER CHIEN THINKS, Ikki claims he's her friend. ]

Nice to meetcha, Yotsuba! [ curiously ] How old are you? I'm seven.

[Friends might be a bit strong given what happened on the draft. But Chien is totally her guardian angel who took her home this one time. HMM.]

Yotsuba and Chien are really good friends. [...] Maybe!

I'm five, five years old! [The journal catches her holding up six fingers though-] Ohhh, you're older than Yotsuba.

Me too! So Yostuba, you and I should be good friends too, 'cause that's how it works!

[ Ikki notices the off-count, and giggles. ] Yep! I'm two whole years older. You're exactly as old as my little brother Meelo!

Is that how friends work?! Wow! Yotsuba is behind with the times!

[And here she was making friends without even thinking about friends of friends and who's friends with who! The more you know.]

Ohhh, you have a brother! I don't have any brothers, or sisters. There's Daddy! He's okay.

Yeah! That's how it works, 'cause their important people are important, too! [ LOGIC THAT WORKS WHEN YOU ARE SEVEN. ]

Well, you can be my sister and share Jinora, too! 'Cause having brothers and sisters is really fun! It means there's always someone to play with or to help you when you have chores.

[... Can she really just declare other people her sister like that? Why has she never done this before?! Yotsuba is learning so much today.]

Okay, Yotsuba can be your sister and share that other guy! Sharing is good! It's always fun to play with other people, like blocks. And hide and seek!

[ Ikki might be unleashing something on the world... ]

I love hide and seek! An' Vivi and I played hide and seek tag! D'you like building block castles?

[And now there's something called hide and seek tag? That's like too games in one! Ikki. You are just an endless fount of knowledge.]

Yeah! Block castles and block towers and block animals. Put animal sticks on the blocks and you have lots of block animals! Yotsuba likes the panda.

[ All in a day's work, Yotsuba~~ ]

We should play blocks sometime! And there can be block cities!

Oh! Yotsuba wanted to make a cardboard box city! With Hiccup! It was going to be really big, as big as the village!

[...]

Not too big though. Big enough. And there would be cardboard people and animals too!

Who's Hiccup? Can I help? When're you making it?

Hiccup is the guy with the dragon. He's a viking and they wear pointy hats, grrr! You can help, Yotsuba says it's okay.

[As for when though she has no idea.]

A dragon? A real-true-real dragon? Neat! Have you met his dragon before, Yotsuba?

Yeah! He's called Toothless and he's really nice and friendly. The best [and only] dragon Yotsuba has ever seen, ten out of... Eleven! That's good!

Does he not have any teeth?

[The last time she Toothless he didn't seem to have any teeth. Or. Did he. Her memory is a little off.]

Yeah! No teeth! His mouth is empty and there's a tongue and... Eyes! On his head. And wings!

Wo-ow. So he can only eat really mushy stuff? That's sad!

He can eat fish! And... And spiky viking hats and trees made out of shields and chairs!!

[Now she's just remembering stuff from when she last saw Toothless rather than the stuff he can actually eat.]

Wo-ow, all that without teeth?

[ What no Yotsuba is clearly a dragon expert here. ]

All of that and more! He can really put it away, he eats everything!

[OH OF COURSE. She knows like. Ten times more stuff about dragons than Hiccup ever will.]

Wo-ow, is he a really big dragon then?

[ PSH HICCUP WHAT DOES HE KNOW ]

Really big, bigger than Jumbo! Can't go through doors, too big!

[I KNOW RIGHT HICCUP IS SUCH A LOSER]
